Getting back on track

There’s been a slight deviation from my routine of building inventory (and more interesting inventory) for the upcoming show season with the construction of a combination tent anchor/ business card holder. And I gotta say that for something that is not a resale item it’s shaping up to be my favorite piece so far.

I just had this idea that in addition to the products displayed in my tent, I wanted a hook of sorts outside to first strike that curiosity and make someone want to see what all of this is about. Constructed with a 1/4” solid stock frame and an 18 gauge skin, the unit will allow one leg of my tent to pass through and house one of the leg weights in the base. At the top, the integral tray will hold 150 business cards. And to provide added effect, the Scrape’s Garage logo will illuminate at night.

Now that I’ve satisfied my attention disorder, it’s back to work on what pays the bills!
