Spend Labor Day weekend at the Third Ward Art Festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! Free and open to the public, the Annual Third Ward Art Festival, in partnership with the Historic Third Ward Association, will showcase the work of 150 juried artists from around the country in a variety of mediums including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, paintings, drawings, photography, and more! In addition to the incredible artwork available for purchase, attendees will be able to interact with artists through demonstrations and booth chats, and can even take part in “Start to Paint” on site painting classes!  Fun for the entire family, the festival features an interactive kid’s art tent and face painting, as well as Kid Friendly Art Tent, where artists invite children to stop at their booth to learn more about the art-making process. Live music on two stages, great food and drink options from neighboring restaurants, and festival food vendors add to the fun vibe!

Along the beautiful shore of Geneva Lake in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, the 44th annual Art in the Park fine art and fine crafts show will take place at Flat Iron Park this year on August 10 and 11. Sponsored by the Geneva Lake Arts Foundation, Art in the Park is a juried show that spotlights original fine art from over eighty artists from throughout the United States featuring paintings, photography, pottery, graphics, glass, sculptures, jewelry, woodwork and more. The event will also feature a silent auction, live entertainment, food and beverages and a children’s activity tent. Mark your calendars early to be a part of this event.

Join us at the Waterstone Bank Milwaukee Air and Water show held on Milwaukee’s lakefront on Saturday July 27th and Sunday July 28th. We’ll have all of our usual oddities there, as well as a few surprises that you don’t get to see at our normal shows, so please stop by and check us out.

Take the day in with demonstrations from numerous military and civilian pilots with an assortment of aircraft to tickle your aviation fancy. Teams from the Italian Frecce Tricolori Air force as well as our beloved US Air Force Thunderbirds. And if water is your thing, there’ll be plenty of skiers and boarders there showing off their talents. I’ve said it every time but for this event, you can kill a couple of to-do items on your summer list with this one show and we would be very happy to see you there.

Join us at Junkin’ Market Days® in November at State Fair Park in West Allis WI. We’ll be there Friday the 10th from 4pm to 7pm, returning on Saturday the 11th from 9am to 4pm. This market features unique products such as boutique clothes, jewelry, home decor, furniture, candles, gourmet foods, and of course wonderfully peculiar items from Scrape’s Garage.
